Background And Expertise
Brian works primarily in the field of Dispute Resolution. He has been in practice for over 20 years having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from University College Dublin and a Diploma in Business Studies from the Smurfit School of Business.
Brian is a Partner in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department and specialises in Defence Litigation, Licensing, Landlord & Tenant disputes and Construction Law.
Brian has a recognised expertise in defending a wide variety of Litigation cases and regularly advises clients in the Insurance and Construction sectors where he manages a broad case load. The cases include a variety of tortious disputes, high value personal injury and complex insurance.
Brian has had an interest in Landlord and Tenant law since qualification. He routinely advises both lessor and lessee on the myriad of issues which arise on foot of tenancy arrangements and has acted on both sides of the divide in both Circuit and High Court actions including several injunctive applications.
Arising from a significant portfolio of active publican clients, Brian is a regular attendee at the licensing sittings in Dublin and covers applications ranging from ad interim transfers to the purchase/receipt of new licences.
