On 17 January, the Jesuit Order announced that following a period of engagement with a Steering Committee representing victims of abuse perpetrated by Fr Joseph Marmion in Belvedere College, Clongowes Wood College and Crescent College in Limerick, it has established a Redress Scheme to compensate victims of that abuse.
Crowley Millar Solicitors LLP represented the Steering Committee in its engagement with the Jesuits and negotiated the terms of the Redress Scheme with solicitors representing the Jesuits.
The Steering Committee has advised those who were abused by Fr Marmion to contact Crowley Millar to progress their claims under the Redress Scheme.
If you wish to make a claim under the Redress Scheme, please contact either Helene Coffey at helene@crowleymillar.com; James Bardon at james@crowleymillar.com or
Hugh Millar at hugh@crowleymillar.com.
Tommy Dalton, who leads our Limerick Office, is also available to advise you if you wish to make a claim under the Scheme. Tommy can be contacted at tommy@crowleymillar.com
