Brian Ó Longaigh - Solicitor

Brian Ó Longaigh is a solicitor in the dispute resolution/litigation department of Crowley Millar. He was educated at University College Dublin where he graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL Hons). He then went on to study at the UCD Smurfit Postgraduate School of Business and in 1996 obtained a Diploma in Business Studies (DBS Hons). Brian was admitted as a Solicitor in 1999 and, after a year out travelling and working in law firms in Sydney, he then settled into a legal career which initially spanned a broad range of areas including general litigation/dispute resolution, employment law, commercial law and property law. He now focuses primarily on defence litigation/dispute resolution, employment law and licensing law.

Brian has represented clients in some high profile and widely reported cases in the non jury, commerical and chancery lists of the High Court. He has been involved in a variety of cases involving commercial litigation, insurance law, professional indemnity, employment law and personal injury litigation (both plaintiff and defence). In his spare time Brian spent a number of years giving free legal advice at a Citizens Advice Centre in South Dublin. He is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
